Michael Blanch is an expert and experienced Naturopath and Homeopath based in Perth. He established Cottesloe Naturopathic Clinic in 1991. With more than thirty years experience, he is one of the key founders of Homeopathy and Naturopathy in Perth. He is the recent past President of the Australian Homeopathic Association (WA). He has had this role for more than 15 years. Through lecturing in natural therapy colleges since 1986, he has taught many of the younger generation of practitioners.

Cottesloe Naturopathic Clinic is a general practice. This means that all health problems are assisted. The philosophy of the clinic is that we cannot treat any problem as if it is separate from the person as a whole. We treat individual people, not just their diagnosis; and as a result, we improve their complaints. We aim to maintain that improvement over a period of time, by encouraging and empowering the patient to take responsibility for their own health.
In every case, the focus is always on the individual, regardless of the diagnosis or the name of the disease. This is the most basic difference between our approach and that of orthodox medicine.
“Holistic” therapies treat the person as a whole. Homeopathy is the most holistic of all modalities. It is also the most natural treatment the most free of side effects. The aim is to balance the individual on all levels three levels: mental, emotional and physical.

Our bodies need space to heal. In conjunction with naturopathic principles, homeopathy assists these natural processes. The integrated approach offers a genuine alternative to drug treatments.
The focus is either alternative or complementary, depending on the circumstance and the individual case. Where patients need to continue with orthodox drugs, the treatment offered through this clinic will not interfere and we can often help reduce medication. In the process, we improve the wellbeing of the patient.
To reduce medication, in most cases the patient will be referred back to their GP for that reduction and for monitoring. Also, please note that we do not treat life threatening situations. We insist that the patient agrees to also follow the advice of their GP and specialist, and signs a disclaimer to that effect.
This clinic forms part of a responsible network of health solutions for today’s educated consumer. We receive referrals from a range of therapists. These include medical doctors, chiropractors, osteopaths, yoga and meditation teachers, psychologists, counsellors and psychotherapists throughout Perth. In turn we refer to these practitioners where necessary.

We are pragmatists and will never let our philosophy compromise our judgement, where the safety or health of our patients is concerned!
Our approach can be effective and non invasive treatments for both acute and chronic conditions. It provides prompt relief for self-limiting conditions such as coughs, colds, ear infections, glue ear, tonsillitis, sinusitis and cystitis. This relief is often quicker than with drugs and without side effects.
We also assist chronic or long-lasting conditions. Treatment consists of low dose medicines that are palatable and safe. We cater for all age groups, including babies, pregnant women, children and the elderly. In fact
